The object of the Northern Chapter of AkLA is to promote library services and to foster professional relations among library staff in the Interior of Alaska.  Members include people who work in public, school, academic and special libraries, as well as community members interested in libraries.

We hope that our website will provide you with information not only about our Statewide and local AkLA organizations, but also about Alaska and some of the exciting books, videos and other materials available on Alaska and the North.
