The New Members Roundtable exists to help new librarians, new Alaskans, and new AkLA members to find an early “home” within AkLA. We promote cross-training between newer and more experienced librarians, and we provide mentoring and leadership experiences to help new members transition into active participation and leadership within AkLA as a whole.
