COLLEGE CREDIT THROUGH UAA
Earn one Continuing Education college credit for attending the 2009 AkLA Conference!
The one-credit course, LS A590, "Issues and Trends in Librarianship: Libraries: Going the Distance", will be offered by the University of Alaska Anchorage. LS A590 satisfies the Alaska Department of Education requirements for recency credits for certification renewal. Coursework requires students to document and summarize AkLA Conference sessions attended, as well as write a 3-5 page paper.
Assignments are due April 14, 2009. Sign up and pay for the course when you register for the conference. Look for more information on the AkLA web site, or contact Deb Mole, UAA Associate Professor, 786-1967, afdlm2@uaa.alaska.edu.
