Silent Auction

Remember to bring your money to spend on the delightful objects you'll find at the Silent Auction to be held during the Conference! Proceeds will be used to support the AkLA scholarship fund, and your funds will be tax deductible. We are soliciting items for the auction, so if you have any art (originals, prints, posters, photographs, jewelry, pottery, etc.), books, book-related items, business services, or your library's fund-raising or marketing products (t-shirts, mugs, etc.) to donate, please contact Ingrid Clauson by Friday, February 16, 2008 at 488-6101 or ingrid.clauson@taos.fnsb.lib.ak.us

It would really help us if you would fill out donor cards for items you are donating and bring the cards with you when you come to Conference. Unfortunately, the North Pole Library is bursting at the seams and has absolutely NO room to store items before the Conference. However, if you e-mail or call and let Ingrid know what you would like to donate ahead of time, she can start working on the Auction spreadsheet as your "virtual" auction items come in. This will enable us to have the Auction up and running for the Opening Reception on Thursday evening.

We will begin setting up the auction Thursday morning in the exhibit hall. Please bring your items ready to display. Feel free to be creative because cute theme baskets for kids and adults seem to do really well in Fairbanks.
