Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Roundtable is to:

Promote knowledge and awareness of government publications among librarians and the general public.
Promote depository collections and their interests.
Encourage communication and cooperation between depository libraries within the state and region.
Provide input into AkLA programs, including continuing education courses, the annual meeting, and preconference programs.

Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP)
The FDLP was established to ensure that the American public has access to its Government's information. Depository libraries safeguard the public's right to know by collecting, organizing, maintaining, preserving, and assisting users with information from the Federal Government.
