Entertainment Highlights

AkLA’s 2005 Conference opens with a reception at the Inupiaq Heritage Center. Enjoy the award-winning Barrow Band as you visit with friends and sample flavors of the Arctic.

Another highlight of the 2005 conference is Jack Dalton performing in: Raven Returns: The Story of Human Beings. This Friday night peformance lasts two hours and costs $20.

Finally, the Nuvukmiut Dance Group will entertain attendees at the 2005 AkLA and AkASL Awards Banquet on Saturday night. This troupe has danced at many Alaskan events and also entertained people at the New Bedford Whaling Museum in Massachusetts.
