Greg R. Notess![]() Greg R. Notess has been writing, speaking, and consulting about Internet information resources and search engines since 1991. A three-time Information Authorship award winner, he is the "On the Net" and "Internet Search Engine Update" columnist for ONLINE. Greg is the author of the several Internet books and has first three editions of Government Information on the Internet, a directory of U.S. federal, state, local, and international government Web sites and also compiled Internet Access Providers: An International Resource Directory, published in 1994. A new book on teaching Web searching is due out in 2006. An internationally-known conference speaker on search engines and other Internet topics, Greg has spoken at conferences such as Internet Librarian, Online Information, Web Search University, the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference, and international meetings in London, Oslo, Stockholm, Paris, Pretoria, Montreal, Copenhagen, Sydney, Zagreb, and several locations in India.
