Ben Mikaelsen Ben Mikaelsen is the award-winning author of many children’s books including Touching Spirit Bear, Petey, and his latest, Tree Girl. His books have won many state readers medals as well as the International Reading Association Award and the Western Writers of America Golden Spur Award. He lives in a log cabin near Bozeman, Montana with a black bear named Buffy that he has adopted and raised for 22 years. |
