Planning CLICK has been an exciting learning adventure!
On behalf of the Alaska Library Association, I urge you to pre-register for
the Anchorage conference, March 7- 10, 2002 to be held at the newly remodeled
Anchorage Hilton. An amazing committee has planned a stimulating program that
will appeal to librarians from diverse Alaskan communities and varied library
environments. Business meetings and social events will keep you running from
dawn to dusk and provide you with opportunities to reconnect with others in the
library world.
The Anchorage local arrangements committee has worked hard on pulling
together this conference. I thank them all for the massive efforts and
creativity that they have brought to this annual event. See you in March!

January 15, 2002 is the deadline for all applications for conference
travel grants and attendance awards.
February 4, 2002 is the postmark deadline for early registration for
the 2002 AkLA conference AND to book a room at the Hilton Anchorage’s special
conference rate.
Remember to bring your silent auction donations to Anchorage in March.
