Jeff Brown talked about his photgraphs and signed copies of "On the Road to Tok & Other Photgraphic Travesties": by Tom Sadowski, Jimmie Froehlich, and Jeff Brown (Alaska Northwest Books, 0-88240-579-9, $7.95). The compact book of clever photos spawns smiles and sales as tourists head to the Northland. Dubbed "On the Road to Joke" in the Anchorage Daily News in a pre-release feature on the book June 2, On the Road to Tok launched to a packed house at Mr. Whitekeys' Fly-by-Night Club on June 26. Celebrated contributing photographers Brown and Froehlich were interviewed on several local Anchorage TV and radio stations and a piece aired on APRN, the Alaska affiliate of NPR.
