Authors to Alaska Round Table
Annual Meeting

Members Present:
Patricia Linville, Chair, Sue Sherif, Treasurer, Katie Sanders, Secretary, Mary Hacker, Bonnie Cavanaugh, Nicole Pease.

Chair's Report:
Patricia reviewed arrangements for the author luncheon and panel discussion scheduled for the conference.

Treasurer's Report:
Sue reported that the account held $2780.52, $800 of which was to be disbursed for author related expenses with this conference.

Old Business:
There was discussion on how to facilitate getting authors to Alaska. Sue suggested we have a list of people interested in author visits and list them on the Authors to Alaska website. Both who is interested in new authors and who has had who with comments about their visit.

Authors discussed as possibilities for the next conference were: Gordan Korman, Kathy O’Neil, Tamora pierce, Bruce Coville, Pam Munoz Ryan, Cynthia DeFelice and Kate Di Camillo. Jim Smith was to contact Bruce Coville for us.

New Business:
The officers elected for the upcoming year were Co-chairs - Katie Sanders and Mary Hacker, Bonnie Cavanaugh - Chair elect (’06-’07), Nicole Pease - Secretary, Sue Sherif Treasurer.

Sue was going to try to get A2A meeting scheduled for the next conference as a dinner meeting so we have more time and hopefully less conflicts with other sessions.
